ZFI launches drive to submit Urdu teachers applications to meet national need.
Accepting the challenge, a group of enlightened Indian Muslims established in 1998 the Zakat Foundation of India. It is a non-profit/non-governmental organization registered with the Government of India and headquartered in New Delhi. It runs several well targeted projects to provide a whole lot of social services to the under privileged in India.

ZFI’s microfinance activities through the Bijnor Fund and Najibabad Fund (Utter Pradesh) have provided the means for greater self sufficiency to over 7,500 borrowers since 2002 alone.
